This will be the first time I have done roof cleaning on my Jayco. I have read the manual about it but wondering if anyone has any tips and product suggestions. Manual was not great on details and I haven't purchased any products to do the job yet so can read the labels on them.

The first step is to understand just what type of roof covering you have on your trailer but since it's a late model Jayco my guess would be EPDM.  Regardless, whether it's EPDM or TPO you want to avoid any products that contain petroleum distillates ... some prefer products like Simple Green, others Murphy's Oil Soap, while powdered laundry detergents like Tide or Spin 'n Span work well.  Assuming your roof is EPDM then you can expect it to chalk, which will show up as a milky white liquid as you wash your trailer but it's normal and something you just have to learn to live with, and is one of several reasons some of us prefer a TPO vinyl roof which won't chalk.
