Norcold 838Eg2

I have a Norcold fridge 838EG2 the trailer is a 1985 WIlderness 23p.  So its old I understand that my fridge has a recall and mine has not been preformed (all over the internet). I called Norcold and they tell me its not under the recall.  Im wondering if they dont make the parts anymore but are they not required to preform the repairs or replace the fridge? What shall I do or im I just screwed with a fridge I cant use the electric on? Thanks for the help!
