After eight years with our 2008 Starcraft ST 2700BH we hitched her up for the last time this week for delivery to the new owners.

Floor plan:

Coming home on Wednesday is a 2012 Rockwood Ultra-Lite 2701SS. Same length, similar layout... but there's one big difference - a slide.

Floor plan:

Improvements in the floor plan include a U-shaped dinette, access to the bedroom from both sides, bigger bathroom sink area, more windows and LOTS more storage, including a door on the outside of the slide with a compartment that's perfect for foam noodles, fishing rods and walking sticks.

Other features new to us (besides the slide) include a power awning, built in black tank rinser, extra grey tank, external antifreeze connection, and torsion axles.

We are going to miss that huge pack and play door, but we've accommodated the change with shorter bins under the bunks in back. And we are very much looking forward to camping in our new trailer.  Big Smile

Congrats, John. You'll love the slide. It just makes the whole interior so much larger.

Congrats! It looks like a new fun toy.

Be sure to crawl around under those slides with them closed to make sure mice can't get in. We never could get that corrected with the slide in our last Palomino.
